Vermont Adaptive Open Enrollment Biking Day at The Driving Range
Vermont Adaptive will be at The Driving Range on September 10th for an open enrollment lesson day.
VASS will have the proper bikes and staff to support each rider.

Aliza Lapierre Fan Club Trail Race
The Richmond Trail Running Club is happy to host the third annual "Aliza Lapierre Fan Club Trail Race!”
The ALFC 50k will traverse approximately 8 miles of road and 23 miles of rugged trails, through Huntington, Starksboro, Hinesburg and Richmond. The course will be challenging, with over 5,000 feet of climbing.
The ALFC 26k will traverse approximately 4 miles of road and 13 miles of rugged trails, through Huntington, Hinesburg and Richmond. The course will be challenging, with over 2,500 feet of climbing.
The 50k will begin at 7:00AM at Brewster-Pierce Elementary in Huntington. Participants have 10 hours to finish the course. The 26k will begin at 10:00AM at Hayden Hill East in Hinesburg. Participants have 7 hours to finish the course. Aid stations will offer snacks and drinks about every 6-8 miles. Both races will finish at Cochran's Ski and Bike Area in Richmond.
Race proceeds will support the Nulhegan Abenaki Tribe's "Abenaki Helping Abenaki" Fund.

This no-drop group ride is open to all levels. We will break into smaller groups based on skill level, interest, and pace.
Meet at the Village Green at 5:30 and be ready to pedal to Chamberlain by 5:45.

Skidmarks Grand Opening at The Driving Range with special guest GT
If you have been keeping an eye on The Driving Range, you may know that volunteers Phil Kmetz and Hailey Sarausky built SKIDMARKS - “a B.C. inspired black diamond level trail with optional proline and double black options.”
Phil and Hailey will be giving a show-and-tell of their trail, Skidmarks, in the morning, with a party vibe to follow including onsite brands and GT Demo Bikes.
Come out to celebrate the new trail Phil and Hailey have gifted our riding community.

If you are new to mountain biking and looking for a comfortable group ride to get started, this ride is for you. This is a no-drop ride that will break into smaller groups based on interest and comfort level.

Trailside First Aid Clinic
In partnership with Richmond Rescue and Camel's Hump Backcountry Rescue, we are offering a two-hour trailside first aid clinic.
When we are out on the trails, it's a challenge for help to reach us quickly. This course intends to give you the practical assessment and intervention skills to assist a friend or fellow trail rider until help (if needed!) arrives.
While this clinic is open to all we recommend a $10 donation with ticket registration or at the door.
